Pebble Beach Concourse D’Elegance is an event unlike any other. Some of the hottest cars from all over the world attracting huge crowds as the center of “car week”. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this event many years in a row. It truly is an experience!

Feels like a lifetime ago and at the same time, yesterday. What an adrenaline rush of experiences, performances, friends, music and fire. To sum it up in one word: Hot!

Some photographs are easier to get than others. Only a couple of minutes to capture this hummingbird’s moment! If the proper lens was not on the camera, the image would never have been created.

Nature
Part of the adventure is simply getting there. This is what draws me to landscape photography. It’s the reason to get out and experience/document the world.
The art of capturing the photograph is a process. The lightning photograph here was half planned. A storm was about to hit the desert 12 hours away. I was stuck at a computer finishing a project. Necessary arrangements were made to deliver the files and I was on the road in the morning. That night as I watched the storm develop, I know I made the right decision.

I’ve been photographing for many years. Throughout this time it was a conscious decision to practice different techniques and explore other subjects.
